WBC of Northern Virginia and AWBC invite you to join us for a Train-the-Trainer/Counselor session on “How to Advise Startup Clients Who Want to Engage in Government Contracting.” Our speaker is Lisa Wood, PTAC State Director, Virginia.

This session will NOT teach you how to help clients research proposal opportunities or prepare bids.

It WILL teach you what to say to an entrepreneur who is not ready for federal contracting. (That is generally any client who does not already have a portfolio of completed contracts.) Clients can be guided to state and local contracts, and can be given an idea of the financials they will need to pull together in order to make a proposal. They can also learn how to become subcontractors.

While the session was originally intended to serve the Washington, DC metro area WBC community, the AWBC pointed out the greater appeal to WBCs across the country.

Webinar provided upon registration.

IMPORTANT: It is best viewed on a desktop, or screen larger than a smartphone (i.e. iPad, etc.).
