First Friday Networking Breakfast from 8am - 9:30am. If you want do a 30 second introduction of yourself and your business (or business idea) please make sure you arrive and are in your seat by 8am. Topic: How to Maintain a Healthy Work/Life Balance as an Entrepreneur Speaker: Angie Hemingway, RN, C, MPH, MNRS Description: Are you increasingly frustrated from your seemingly inability to take action on things? No matter who you are or where you are in life, life happens. We get stuck and we question things in our lives. While we crave to live a full and abundant life, at times we may become stuck, needing outside help to make a change. Come learn how you can start living your best choices by making decisions that align with the things that bring you joy and are your highest values and priorities. Bio: Angie Hemingway’s passion is to help people who want to feel and achieve their best and reduce their stress, but aren’t quite sure how to get there on their own. A certified health professional who has worked as a coach, health promotion and public health consultant, she understands the factors that get in our way of achieving our goals. Angie helps people desiring to make positive changes in life discover what brings them joy and helps them to shift their perspectives into transformative and empowering ways. She has worked with individuals, large groups and organizations helping them move beyond a focus on a single behavior to a wide range of social, cultural and environmental interventions to bring about change. Her education includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Master of Science in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, National Defense University, Certification - Global Health, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and Health and Life Coach Training – Veteran’s Administration.
